Where Personal Reflections Meet IT Innovations: Exploring Tech, Home Labs, and More

This is how it all started…

I’ve always been the type of person who’s curious about how things work—especially anything tech-related. While my friends were busy playing games, I was more interested in figuring out the magic behind them. How does the network connect all these people? That simple curiosity grew into something more as I dove deeper into the world of IT and networking.

It all started with one question: How does the internet work?

How Does the Internet Work?

That single question sent me down a path of endless learning. From setting up my first home network to eventually building a home lab where I could play around with private DNS resolution and VPN services, it became less about tinkering and more about the thrill of solving problems. There’s just something satisfying about creating something from scratch and watching it work.

As I got more into tech, I started to see a bigger picture—freedom. The idea that, with the right skills, I could work from anywhere really clicked for me. That’s when the concept of becoming a digital nomad started to feel like more than just a fantasy.

Southeast Asia turned into my playground. From the busy streets of Bangkok to the chill beaches of Bali, I traveled, soaking in the different cultures and seeing how tech was transforming lives across the region. Each place had its own unique vibe, and every trip just made me more determined to keep exploring and working remotely.

Now, as I sit here in a cozy café in Singapore, connected to my home lab back in Malaysia, I can see where this journey is headed. Becoming a digital nomad isn’t just a dream anymore—it’s a real goal. And it all started with that one question about how the internet works.
